Have you ever walked through a hard season? Of course you have. Life is full of seasons, and they are often difficult. Like C.S. Lewis once said, "life with God is not immunity from difficulties, but peace within difficulties."

You've probably experienced at least one (or more) seasons where the way forward isn't quite clear. Me too. I think that's why I love the story of Ruth in the Old Testament so much. The words are comforting and remind me that even in the most difficult of seasons, God is with me.

This summer I'm offering the first ever Summer in the Scriptures Series - a slow study through the book of Ruth.

Together we'll take walk through a 7-week slow study and deep dive into the story of Ruth. We'll look at the picture of Jesus we see in Boaz as the Kinsman Redeemer, the significance of the biblical Hebrew and more. I'll share with you my study process and help you to begin to form or mature your own.

I hope you'llJoin Me!

“Nobody ever outgrows Scripture; the Book widens and deepens with our years.”

- CHARLES SPURGEON

Do you desire to have a solid, unshakeable, unwavering faith?

Faith on a Firm Foundation?

A Faith that feels rooted, not rickety?

A Faith that feels PERSONAL, NOT BORROWED?

A Faith YOU CAN EXPLAIN, NOT STUMBLE OVER?

If this is the kind of faith you desire as a Christian woman, you can have it.

The first place to start is the Bible.

When you commit to reading and studying God's Word regularly, not just as an exercise for the sake of knowledge, but as a way to grow closer to the heart of God, it will be a blessing to you that increases, sharpens and roots your faith.

"Every word of God proves true; he is a shield to those who take refuge in him."
- Proverbs 30:5, ESV

Is your Christian

YOU WILL SEEK ME AND FIND ME, WHEN YOU SEEK ME WITH ALL YOUR HEART.

- Jeremiah 29:13 | ESV

Do You Know Jesus?

I don't know what your story is.

I don't know what difficult seasons you've walked in.

I don't know what storm you're facing today.

I don't know what you've celebrated or what you've grieved.

Jesus wants to have a personal relationship with you - no matter who you are or what you've done.

You don't have to come to Jesus with your life together. He is the one who cleanses you.

Jesus is the only way to heaven, where you will eternally enjoy God.

God is the Maker of Heaven and Earth and YOU!

He made you, He sees you, He knows you and He loves you.

You have free will to choose to put your faith in Jesus, or not.

And if you do, the moment you put your faith in Christ, His Holy Spirit dwells within you (1 Corinthians 12:13) and you are made new (2 Corinthians 5:17).

I do
know this:

1 Peter 3:14-15 esv

"But even if you should suffer for righteousness' sake, you will be blessed. Have no fear of them, nor be troubled, but in your hearts honor Christ the Lord as holy, always being prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you; yet do it with gentleness and respect,"

I've always believed in God, but I haven't always known God. In my early 30s, I stepped inside of a nondenominational Christian church for the first time in my life and sat astonished as people took notes, wrote in their Bibles and raised their hands in worship. Having been raised Catholic and only ever attended Catholic mass, this was an entirely new experience for me.

And that's when I met Jesus. That's when I began to have a relationship with The Lord and not with a religion. One year later I chose to be baptized as an adult (having previously been baptized as an infant). It was hard for some of my family members to understand and maybe even a little hard for me at the time to express - but I believed, and still do, that baptism is an outward expression of an inward change.

I had changed. I was made new.

Since I gave my life to Christ in 2013, nothing has been the same. He has worked things into me and has worked things out of me. Little by little, I have tried to submit every aspect of my life to Him.

I am currently working on writing my first book, on the topic of contentment. I am also a student at Biola University's Talbot School of Theology where I am studying to receive my Master's Degree in Christian Apologetics.

OF MY STORY

We live in a world that feels like it's moving away from truth at a startling pace. Like the Apostle Peter, I feel strongly the need to always be ready to give a defense of my hope that rests solely in Jesus Christ.

"But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you." - Jesus

Matthew 6:33, ESV
